With the uncertainly of the pandemic continuing to loom large in most people’s minds, are you:

  • Feeling anxious, isolated, and uncertain about the future?

  • Ruminating more about past hurts due to having so much more free time on your hands?

  • Having difficulty motivating and struggling with getting through the day?

  • Needing support but worried about your safety venturing out into the world?

Pandemic-related stress is adding to the load of what we’re already carrying right now. Not to mention the fact that Covid-19 is triggering past trauma as well as causing us to experience the collective weight of grief and loss both personal and global.

Support From the Comfort of Your Own Home

The Listening Body Counseling Services is now offering online counseling sessions for all Texas residents during the COVID-19 crisis. Virtual therapy can be accessed from the comfort of your home or a safe place of your choosing.

An online counseling session (also known as telehealth or online therapy) is similar to an office visit, except instead of traveling to the office for your appointment, you can be seen from any location that works best for you. This option allows you to get your mental health needs met without having to worry if you’re endangering your safety during this time.

Online counseling sessions are made accessible via a secure and confidential video platform through a variety of devices including your mobile phone, iPad or tablet, and computer. The experience is similar to Facetime or Skype.

Online Therapy is a great fit if:

  • You want to minimize your exposure or risk to Covid-19.

  • You have WiFi or a hardwired internet connection of at least 2MB.

  • You value convenience and less stress due to stay-at-home responsibilities and safety concerns.

  • Being in the comfort of your own space is preferable.

  • You don’t want to deal with the hassle of traffic or commuting.

  • You live in a rural setting where it may be difficult to access the services you want.
